Georgia delivered its strongest performance ever at the 2025 ADCE Awards, taking home the Grand Prix, a special European values award, two Golds, a Silver, and two Bronze awards marking an exceptional year for the country’s creative industry.
The standout of the night was “Birds Never Forget To Fly” by Playmakers with Enkeny Films and Heima Production for PSP, which dominated the festival:
-
GRAND PRIX – Best Work in Europe
-
European Star – Johannes Newrkla Award
-
GOLD — TV/Cinema Commercials (Film & Audio)
-
GOLD — Creative Effectiveness (Brand Experience)
-
SILVER — Film & Audio
The campaign, created through letters, calls and storyboards drawn inside prison, became a national symbol of resilience and freedom during one of Georgia’s most difficult socio-political moments. It reached over 10 million views despite bans on progovernment channels transforming an Independence Day message into a profound cultural statement.
Georgia also earned recognition for two more impactful works:
“Accused of Truth” | Supermarket for Batumelebi / Netgazeti
-
BRONZE — Editorial Design (Design)
A bold, editorially-driven design piece highlighting the pressure faced by independent journalism in Georgia.
“Stubborn Nation” | Playmakers for TBC Bank
-
BRONZE — Integrated & Innovation
A campaign exploring national character, identity, and the paradoxes that shape the Georgian mindset through a modern creative lens.
With wins across Film, Effectiveness, Editorial Design, and Integrated Campaigns, 2025 marks a historic year for Georgian creativity on the European stage.
